Systems For Traders - March 2011 Update

Hi, Welcome to the Systems For Traders March 2011 Update.

Reviews Four new reviews to report this month. Two Trading system reviews, Boss Trading Method and Louise Woof's Quickie Trader. In addition, a bit of a Fixed Odds Signal service bonanza with Matt Shaw's Fixed Odds Success and the EOD Trading Signals reviews being posted.

Systems/Services We Use Performance Another great month for Forex Morning Trade, +11% to add to the +15% profit from last month, currently +23% Year To Date for 2011. 1 Minute Daily made up a lot of the ground lost last month with GBPUSD returning +15% and USDJPY returning +21.5%. Remember, we use this system for "growth" not income and these swings are not unusual - USDJPY is yet to return to profit to far this year but overall we are up as GBPUSD continues to outperform at present.

Performance Updates Performance for "Systems/Services We Use" as well as those systems/services we are continuing to monitor post-review have been updated for the current month. Links, as always, can be found on the left hand side of this email. At present we intend to continue monitoring all of these.

Post Of The Month (NEW Book Reviews Section) This is more of a - New section of the month award this time - It of course goes to BookWorm whose new Trading Book Reviews section is, we believe, excellent. Systems For Traders - February 2011 Update

Hi, Welcome to the Systems For Traders February 2011 Update. The update is a little late as we were waiting for a couple of February results to come in and we had to change our Email client this week. The latter meant we didn't hit our self imposed four new reviews a month target. We hope to make up for this in March.

Reviews Three new reviews to report this month. Two Trading system reviews have been completed, AutoFocus FX and DMC Forex as well as the Mark Austin FTSE Signal service review. Links, as always, can be found on the left hand side of this email.

Systems/Services We Use Performance After a negative return in January (-3%) Forex Morning Trade made a 15% profit this month. 1 Minute Daily made a -22% loss on GBPUSD and a -7% loss on USDJPY in January. This month the drawdown continues, a -2% loss on GBPUSD and a -9% loss on USDJPY. Historically we know these drawdowns can occur and that's why we use this system for "growth" not income. This is one of the lows so hopefully we can report a correction from here next month.

Performance Updates Performance for "Systems/Services We Use" as well as those systems/services we are continuing to monitor post-review have been updated for the current month. Systems For Traders - November 2010 Update

Welcome to the Systems For Traders November 2010 update.

Reviews:

Four new reviews were posted this month, one we already dropped a note out on a couple of weeks ago, Jamie Marsdens Forex Morning Strategy. This is a Forex "scalping method" operated around 07:30 UK time. We have also just published our review of the Daily Index Trader system, a Set & Forget (index based) pairs trading strategy.

Signal service wise we have two, Winning DOW Signals and Forex Daily Trading, both of which have aspects of interest and we will be monitoring these two for another month.

As always, links can be found on the left hand side of this email and we welcome your input.

Although we do not not trade in December we will continue with reviews where those systems/services do not discourage December trading. With this in mind we still hope to complete another 3 or 4 reviews this year.

Performance: A positive month (and year) - just:

- London Forex Open -7.5%
- DOW Letter +8.5%

That's a +1% return for the month. It means our 2010 performance table is now complete as we don't trade in December. After being well in profit in the first half of the year we ended up with a rather dismal net +10% profit for our "Systems/Services We Use". Our journals, see left hand side and our Consolidated Monthly Performance page have been updated to reflect these results.

As it's the end of the year we will be reviewing our "Systems/Services We Use" list and of course issuing any update should we change anything.

Reviews Updated: The FX Friday, Forex Morning Trade and 1 Minute Daily reviews have also been updated to reflect recent trading. Note: 1 Minute Daily has made another impressive profit this month to finally restore us to positive territory again on our "growth fund".

All,

Three new reviews to inform you of this month, all of them (in our humble opinion) worthy of a read as they have all provoked extended interest from us.

SystemsForTraders September Update

All,

Quite a lot going on and a lot to update you on this month.

In summary, as well as the two reviews completed earlier in the month (Forex Empire & Housewife Trader Presents) two more have now been added, meaning we met our target of 4-6 new reviews each month. One of the new systems reviewed (Sniper Forex) has been added to our "Systems We Use" list as has London Forex Rush. Additionally, BOM Signals has merged with Fixed Odds Investment to form a new company, Fixed Odds Services, so BOM Signals has been removed from our "Services We Use" list and replaced with Fixed Odds Services, a journal has been added and a review will follow in October. Also note details of our Investors Chronicle article and a brief definition of our rating system.

We did hope to finish the John Piper Trade Maker review in time for this update however we didn't quite make it. We will hopefully drop a quick note out this week to let you know when it has been posted.

It's not clear on the web-site and we are not sure how to make it clearer or where (any suggestions welcomed) so here is a brief overview of our rating system:

SystemsForTraders August Update

All,

Not too much of an update this month as we have been spending some time on summer holidays and not trading much during this period.

However, we do have some news worthy of note:

• We have added an update to our London Forex Rush review
• As a result of the above we have added a London Forex Rush journal
• LMT August journal update is complete as is the BOM Signals August journal

We have 5 reviews on-going at present and all being well they will all be ready for the end of September in line with our target of a review a week.

And finally, as per your requests we have now added a rating to each and every review.
