Forex Hijacker Review

Jason Alexander is the guy behind the Forex Hijacker trading system.

His system is based on trading EURUSD and GBPUSD early in the morning, UK time. There are 3 different approaches which can be applied, all are based on the same straddle and overnight range theory.

It is simple to set the system up and identifying the range is also quite straight forward. Choosing which strategy to employ and whether or not to follow Jason's morning emails has to be decided. We chose to trade the Set & Forget option and also to ignore the morning email, mainly because we agreed to differ with it's content quite often.

For 2 months we traded this system as described above and we made a small loss. To view the results in more detail and read our conclusion please visit our Forex Trading Systems Review Site.

Anytime Trader - Richard Hill Review

Anytime Trader is the 3rd system to be produced by Richard Hill.

The 100+ page manual is well written and even beginners should be able to pick up and use this 100% mechanical system without much of a problem. It is recommended that the system is traded between 10:00 and 10:45 or 13:00 and 16:45 UK time. The instrument of choice is EURUSD on the 15 minute candlestick chart. Stops and Targets are fixed and mean that the Risk:Reward works out at 1 to 1.75.

Although we ended up with a slight loss in January when we used this system this was not the fact that put us off this 3rd offering from the same author ...

Quick Trade FX by Aaron Clarke Review

Quick Trade is a system which claims to take just 5 minutes a day to trade. It looks to take advantage of a simple human error every weekday at
07:00 GMT by trading false break-outs of the USDJPY Currency pair.

It is easy to set up, it's 100% mechanical and even beginners should have no problems picking it up.

After trading the system for a couple of months we ended up just better than break-even, based on 2% risk per trade.

The system is perhaps suited to those completely new to trading who wish to understand the basics of chart reading and order placement and management without, hopefully, losing too much cash in the process - Perhaps making a little!

Wall Street Time Shift Trader

This system is as simple as it comes. It is easy to set up and it is 100% mechanical. At least it becomes 100% mechanical once one makes a few simple decisions where some discretion applies.

We chose to trade the system, as recommended at 13:00 each day UK time and went for a 20 point stop and 30 point target (the most logical).

In our 1st month we made a 23% return based on 2% risk per trade. On the basis it takes less than 5 minutes a day once a day we decided that we would continue to monitor this system under our main review.

Forex Pip Taker Review

Forex Pip Taker is a system which is used to trade 3 recommended currencies, GBPCHF, EURJPY and GBPJPY on the 4 hour chart. It is simple to set up and is about 95% mechanical.

Although we made a profit over the 3 currencies over 3 months the main drawback was having to be around every 4 hours to ensure entries were not missed.

It's a Clickbank product though and those with patience and a good alarm clock may find that it suits them, if it does not then the 60 Day Money Back Guarantee will be useful.

Blue Blade Trader Review

Blue Blade Trader by Chris Hardcastle is a system which, it is recommended, is used primarily to trade USDJPY on the 1 hour chart.

The basis of the system is Ichimoku and it is sold on the basis that it takes about 20 minutes a day. This may be true but in reality we found that this meant 20 minutes a day over a 12 hour+ period every hour on the hour. We seen this as the only feasible way to trade the system. Although profitabel we do not feel the just better than break-even reward justified the effort.

Trade The Banks Review

Guy Cohen's Trade The Banks system is one which is largely used to trade US Stocks. The course is presented in over 8 hours of video content and it's content which is very well done and put together.

Core to the system is the online members area where the Trade Finder software (charting package) is accessed. This is where various filters can be applied and trades can be automatically searched for based on user specified criteria.

Although the filtering process sounds great in theory and we made a profit trading this system it was still due to the application of a great deal of discretion. This is explained in more detail under the full review.

BK Forex Advisor Review

This service is one which is run by two high profile industry specialists, Kathy Lien and Boris Schlossberg.

The service, $199 a month, offers 2 - 3 calls a week as well as Daily calendar calls. It's a simple service and is easy to operate and trade with signals coming at pretty much any time of the day (a bit of a downside, would be better if the times were more concentrated/specific in our opinion).

We did experience a profitable month with service so were able to confirm, in our experience, the results on the website were achievable. To conclude the review we then analysed all historic results and you can view these under our main review.

Stock Market Sniper Review

A new product from a new kid on the block, this is Rob Cornish's, an ex-city fund managers, first system.

Its quite a simple system where a check is made each morning on the VIX and also on some fundamentals. Trading is then performed on the FTSE, DOW or S&P to suit, on the 1 minute chart. Entry is based on Price action and a Moving average crossover.

We made a profit with this system over a 6 week period but the lower time-frame can be quite intensive and "scalping" is not really what we believe trading should be all about.

Four Hour Trader Review

Four Hour Trader is a system produced by John Campbell. It can be used to trade various instruments such as EURUSD, Gold, the DOW and Oil. As the name suggests it is only traded on the 4 hour time-frame.

For review purposes we only traded EURUSD, Gold and the DOW as we were asked for an extra $49 for the Oil product.

We had mixed results over a 3 month period with the EURUSD and Gold returning a small but positive monthly return and the DOW outperforming both. The main drawback we encountered was missing over 30% of the trades because we were asleep on the close of two of the 4 hour candles.

Daily Cash System Review - Hugo Lawrence

Daily Cash is a system produced by Hugo Lawrence, it costs £495 and is backed by Agora.

The system comes in the form of 2 DVDs and a 100 page manual. Four indicators are used (one is IG Index specific so it means IG Index must also be used) and DOW and GBPUSD are focused on. The 15 minute timeframe is the anchor chart, Stop and Entry are 100% mechanical as they are both fixed, 20 and 10 respectively. The Entry criteria does, we feel, let this system down as it is just way too discretionary.

Beginners would struggle with this system or at least the majority of them would.

FTSE 100 Club Review

The FTSE 100 Club is in fact two Signal services, a FTSE Signal service and a Forex signal service. Both operate pretty much the same but are reported separately. Signal delivery is by SMS only with Entry and Exit being at current market price. It does mean that you need to be able to react quickly to all signals to emulate the results published on the website. Nowadays though this is not so much of an issue as most of the more common brokers now offer a mobile trading platform. Based on 2 months access we made an average +10% a month across both services based on 2% risk per trade, this more or less the same as they reported on their website for the same period.

We are continuing to monitor this service which can be trialled for just £10 during the month of June, see our main review for details.

FX 180 Review (Keith Cotterill)

Keith Cotterill is name familiar to many of us, and this is his latest product, a Forex Trading system which is used to exclusively trade Cable. It is recommended to trade the system between 6am and 11am or 1pm and 4pm, the UK and US Forex opening sessions respectively. This system is quite mechanical, it relies on Price action, a Stochastic indicator and a Moving average.

We traded this system as per the manual during the UK Forex opening session (6am – 11am) for 3 months. We made 31 trades and an average monthly profit of +3.22% based on 2% risk per trade. With just 10 trades a month though it did mean some days (for 5 hours) we sat at our trading screen and made no trades, frustrating!

Forex U-Turn Review - Jason Sweezey

This is a Forex Trading system produced by Jason Sweezey, who also produced the 4x Pip Snager system - This is a link to our 4x PIP Snager Review.

Forex U-Turn is a system which Jason provides updates for based on trading two Currency pairs, the EUR/USD and GBP/USD, on 1 hour charts. The system needs MT4 as a custom template and indicators are provided. Then, after spotting specific Price action a trade is entered based on the custom indicator and two Moving averages. Some observation of recent Support and Resistance is also required to determine a valid entry.

During March and April 2011 we used this system as above from 07:00 – 22:00 UK time and made a net return of around 7% per month based on 2% risk per trade.

A lot of screen time but maybe worth it for those with time and dedication.

Binary Options Xposed Review

Assaxin 8 from Binary Options Xposed is a Binary Options Trading system. It promises a 98% strike rate and the chance to earn $20,000 a month once you have learnt the formula for success.

This system is explained over 2 hours of video content. To operate the strategy you will need a Binary Options account and a Charting package which provides data for popular US stocks such as Google, Microsoft and Apple.

The problem with this strategy though is that the definition of Entry criteria is way too vague. Even after watching the videos twice it was still not clear how to trade this strategy. We did some quick sums and determined that the $20,000 (200% return on capital) per month claim made on the website is, to say the least, highly improbable.

FX Radar Review

The operators of the FX Radar Signal service provide Free access to their signals by email until a return of 200 PIPs is achieved. After this they charge $199 a month for access. This does come with a - If you don't make 100 PIPs in any month guarantee the next months signals will not be charged for.

6 currencies are traded (but strangely we have actually received a signal for NZDJPY which is not one of the six) and signals are received between 23:00 and 02:00 UK time.

Since we been using the Free trial, since the 17th March 2011 the nearest we got to the 200 PIPs was a when we were up +162 PIPs. We have since seen a drawdown to -330 PIPs from which we recovered to now be Break-even, at the time of publishing our review.

FX Radar aim to return 300 – 500 PIPs a month with their service, we have yet to achieve the lower end of this target in over 6 weeks of access. We continue to monitor this service until we hit the 200 PIPs.

Forex Trade Alert (Tom Tragett) Review

A Forex Signal service provided by Tom Tragett which and we have decided to publish based on a full years access. The objective of the service is not to make you a millionaire overnight or provide daydream returns of 500%, the target is a 40% - 50% return each year.

Just after we started using this service Tom announced a 46% profit for the previous 12 months, that was back in March 2010. We have traded the signals since April 2010 to March 2011 and over that period we made just 6%, quite a contrast.

This service does, unlike many others, provide full details of why Tom has taken a position. He also provides his fundamental and technical view of the markets each day. Agreed, this is added value but at the end of the day it will be the performance upon which the service is judged.

The service is also FSA regulated.

The Boss Trading Method Review

This strategy is used to trade GBPUSD only on the 5 minute timeframe.

The Boss Trading Method is a follow up to the Boss Wins method, also included with this strategy.

Set up is simple, 3 industry standard indicators. One can trade just 7am – 8am UK time or all day “for bigger gains”.

In February and March we traded just the one hour each morning and ended up just over 3% for the period (based on 2% risk per trade).

We are aware that the (reported) gains are much higher if traded 7am – 3pm and for this reason we have committed to this in April and May. As always, our progress will be reported on the website.

Quickie Trader (Louise Woof) Review

A DOW based strategy that is traded at 3pm and/or 8pm UK time.

The manual is very well written and in terms of Entry, Stop and Target, beginners will have no trouble at all picking up and understanding this strategy. However, as this is the DOW and is a kind of scalping method “newbies” may well struggle with the active trade management and this often swiftly moving instrument.

The performance we witnessed in March may not have been typical of this system, we came out slightly down for the month.

Our opinion is however that the system would be best suited to a wider Stop than that advised, we just got chopped out of too many trades too “quickie”ly and easily.

EOD Trading Signals Review

Our second Fixed Odds Signal service review this month (March 2011).

A similar service to Matt Shaws (Fixed Odds Success) only this one has specific Signal times, 11:00, 15:00 and 23:00, which is handy.

The returns per trade with this service are also slightly higher, on average, around 40% but this is offset by a longer average holding period of around 14 days. Once again, due to the nature of the popular Fixed Odds bet (No touch) this service underperformed during the volatile markets caused by the recent uprisings and earthquakes.

With a reasonable track record and all historic results posted on their website, this is also a service we will be providing a 6 month view on. Again, this is in the hope we see a more stable world and thus markets and performance.
